Applications:

  • Used in combination with acidic foods and drinks for instance fruit juices, soft drinks, and pickles to prevent microbial activity and resultant spoilage.

  • It inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi in the processed foods such as jams, jellies, and syrups to enhance product safety and shelf stability.
